Ellayna Gallis Journey
Age 3 through Age 4

Well here we are, its Summer of "07" and we all know what that means now don't we??????

Just think 13 more years until I can get a drivers license. But thats all right cause we have some awesome parties here too. Me and the girls along with a few boys had a wonderful 3rd Birthday party for me. I got a lot of gifts and we had a cookout too.

Not sure how many of you knew it, but back in the Spring it was suggested I start Equine therapy to help with my balance. We were blessed to find a great new friend for me called "Breezy". We ride and walk around the yard alot, but I can't help but think her favorite time is when I give her a cup of corn each day. In return she volunteered to give Mini Horse rides at my party.

Well this has been an interesting summer. I have had several superficial blood clots show up on my arms, back, and leg. So they felt it was time to do a CT scan and have a look around.

The only fun part I can think of is they give you "Happy Juice" before they start anything and wow it has a kick to it. The last time I got sleepy, this time I got giggly instead.

Sometimes you just have to go for it and have a little fun. One of our trips to The Cleveland Clinic Pappy suggested a stop by Chuckie Cheese. As you can see from the pictures I had a ball.

Guess what happening chick is now in ballet? Ok, the pictures most likely gave this one away.

Besides these way cool dance skirts, I also have leg warmers around here somewhere.

It's important you realize Ellayna was not yet 2 years old in this video and had just started walking that weekend. Then look at the pictures above and see she now takes ballet just over a year later. That's a God thing! You will need a media player that will play Windows type "WMV" format such as "Real Player". Hope you enjoy it.

This is a Benefit given in October 2007 to help with my medical expenses. Thank you Dreamy and Mike, Aunt Sally and Pete, and the whole gang. A special thank you to Dave for such a great auction. Over $2000 was raised!!!
There was a lot of great things donated for the auction and thanks to everyone who gave. Still can not believe all that Ohio State stuff going for $80 dollars, wow! Another special thank you to our new friends from New Albany Ohio.
Thank you to all the Karaoke singers, you helped make this fun too. We also had a great meal, and cookies and brownies and...........

I know it's December 2007 and it snowed today, but I didn't break my legs skiing to get these casts. They are making cast molds of my legs for a Custom AFO ( Ankle Foot Orthotics ). Fancy words for leg braces. Since there is now a 2 1/2 inch ( 6.5cm) difference in my legs it is to help me from falling off my raised shoe.

This is my buddy Vern who is making my casts at Hanger Prosthetics. Look at the difference in those molds. Wow, I could really kick some butt if I chose too. I will post pictures of my fancy braces when they come in.

Watch out world, this girl's gotta new ride!!! Thats right, I now have a new wheel chair. No more baby rides in the shopping cart or strollers. I'm up now where I can do some serious shopping.

You can really see the lift on my shoe good in these pictures. Well it gets a little heavy to haul around when I been on my feet all day. So now I can go for hours and hours and hours.........................

I hope all my friends had a wonderful Christmas 2007

Can you guess who got a Fisher Price Digital Camera for Christmas?

Ok, things have been a little slow on my web site lately. Pappy spent some time in the hospital around Easter time and has been a little slow adding things since then
So lets start around then and see what happens now.

Me, the wonder drug!!!

Me and Pappy doing Easter Eggs in the Hospital.

The Easter Bunny even left me gifts there too. He hid them in the waiting room so Pappy could help me find them. Cool huh!

Snow Days Ohio style

Me of course, and Uncle Jamey and Pappy playing in the snow.

People often ask how I spend my days in the winter? I tell them Cupcakes!!!!!

Shoes.........shoes.........my kingdom for a new pair of shoes

I have been waiting so long for new shoes that they have decided to special order them from the factory. Seems a size 9 comes in a velco and size 12 is lace-up. So they are making mine to order. This is my buddy Vern at Hangers taking molds of my feet so they will be a perfect fit. We'll see.

Did the hat give it away? Where else could you get a styl'in hat like this for a dollar and pay another 11 dollars for the cotton candy that came with it. Thats right at the circus! Nana and Pappy took me to see the Ringling Bro's Barnum and Baily Circus.

It was awesome, and we had great seats too!!

Me on the way home afterwards.

Hey all those dance classes paid off. Every Saturday I go to class and dance with about 12 other girls my age. At the recital it was a blast. I danced in front of a lot of people with my class. This is outside with my cousin Kathy, she danced too. Be both got flowers for being so good.

These are my CMTC family. This was our yearly gathering in Maryland for new info and time sharing with one another. Each family here has someone effected with CMTC and it's good to hug and be hugged by people that deal with the same stuff I do.
